Ghost Of The China Sea (1958, U.S.A.)

In the Philippines during World War II, Japanese soldiers overrun a sugar cane plantation. The remaining survivors, including Martin French (David Brian, Intruder in the Dust), take over a small escape boat called the USS Frankenstein. French attempts to lead a ragtag group, including American expatriates, Filipino natives and a lost sailor, to safety, dodging the Japanese along the way.
