Veteran actor and two-time Oscar winner Michael Caine stars with Tilda Swinton and Jeremy Northam in the provoking thriller, THE STATEMENT.

An ambitious Judge (Swinton) and an exacting Colonel (Jeremy Northam) re-open the sixty-year-old case of Pierre Brossard (Michael Caine).  Brossard was a Nazi executioner accused of murdering seven Jews, who went on the run to escape punishment, and retribution.  Decades later Brossard kills a hitman who was after him.  This draws both police and public attention.  The Catholic Church was hiding him, but now no longer will.  So now Brossard has both the law and possibly more hitman after him.  They want him killed before the law catches up with him …
