Walk In The Spring Rain, A (1970, U.S.A.)

Libby is the bored, middle-aged wife of college professor Roger.  He takes Libby to Tennessee’s Smokey Mountains, where he plans to write a book. When they arrive, they meet Will, the caretaker of the house they are renting. Will is attracted to Libby, and Libby gradually falls for him too.  Libby’s daughter asks her to return to New York earlier than planned.  However she’s torn between her family and her new relationship with Will, and the idyllic rural lifestyle which has stolen her heart.

Directed by Guy Green, with a soundtrack by noted composer Elmer Bernstein (The Magnificent Seven).
