Dustin Hoffman, Geena Davis and Andy Garcia star in this captivating comedy from Stephen Frears (HIGH FIDELITY, THE QUEEN). Hotshot TV reporter Gayle Gayley literally falls into the story of a lifetime when she is saved from a fiery plane crash. But her mystery hero disappears into the night … until a million dollar reward is offered. But is the handsome hero that comes forward really her mysterious saviour?

Interesting twist on Cinderella fable and modern media satire has TV reporter Davis looking for the man who saved her life, expecting a genuine hero, and accepting without question the one who fits her vision. Critically considered disappointing, but wait–Garcia and Hoffman make a great team, and Davis is fetching as the vulnerable media person. Strong language and dark edges may keep away some of the kids, but otherwise this is a fine fable.
