None other than William Castle directed this exciting adventure, produced in Technicolor by Sam Katzman. During the Crimean War, the British have developed a new super cannon. Naturally, the Russians want to get their hands on it. When one of the British guards is captured, his mate, played with debonair charm by Jean Pierre Aumont, is sent to rescue him, aided by a lovely gypsy (Paulette Goddard, Chaplin’s Modern Times and The Great Dictatot) and her band.
