CRUISIN’ DOWN THE RIVER stars Dick Haymes, Audrey Totter, Billy Danniels, Cecil Kellaway, Connie Russell, Douglas Fowley, Larry J. Blake, Johnny Downs, Benny Payne, Cynthia Strother and Kay Strother. A NYC night club crooner named Beau Clemment manages to inherit a broken down showboat from Georgia. Knowing what he des best, he turn it into a night club. Eventually he falls for Sally Hane, the granddaughter of Thadeus Jackson who happens to be an arch enemy of Beau’s late grandfather. Accompanied by a wonderful assortment of songs, a parody of famous tunes, and featuring the Bell Sisters.
