Rock Hudson and Donna Reed are newlyweds traveling to the West. Phil Carey, in a wonderful performance as a psychotic outlaw, kidnaps Reed. Hudson is then forced to pursue the gang and tries to maintain his composure but ends up becoming just as crazed as Carey.
