It is the future when robots serve. However, instead of helping, they are now becoming assassins.

Tom Selleck stars as Jack Ramsay.  He’s a sergeant in the Runaway Squad – a security force who destroy defective or runaway robots.  When two electronic engineers are murdered,  Ramsay and his assistant are called in to investigate.  They discover a link between the murders and the development of a terrifying new weapon by an evil mastermind.  However, Robots attack them as they close in on the brilliant and insane electronics genius behind it all. Then the deadly chase begins in this taut high-tech thriller.

The supporting cast includes Cynthia Rhodes, Gene Simmons, Kirstie Alley and Stan Shaw.
