Sweet Hearts Dance (1988, U.S.A.)

Johnson (TV’s “Nash Bridges”) stars as Wiley Boon, a hard-working family man who’s lived his entire life in his Vermont hometown and married his high school sweetheart (Sarandon, Stepmom). But now Wiley’s cozy little world doesn’t feel quite as cozy anymore. His once idyllic marriage seems to be falling apart, just as his longtime bachelor buddy Sam (Daniels, Pleasantville) appears to be falling in love. Now Wiley feels alone as he struggles to understand his most cherished relationships.  This is a spirited story about the changing moods of holding on to – and letting go of – love.
