Howard Hawks directs Carole Lombard and John Barrymore in this all-time classic screwball comedy based on the Broadway hit play.

It’s the story of the egomaniac, Broadway director (Barrymore) who helps a girl rise from a talented amateur to an adored Hollywood star.  When he falls on hard times, he tries to enlist his former protege and lover to help his failing career.  However, she resists her former mentor, so he has a battle on his hands.
