In 1973, a spiritual awakening caught the heart of nearly every player on the Woodlawn High School football team.

They live in a time of division, bitterness and unrest.  Although their school is full of racism and hate, the team always strive for love and unity.

Tony Nathan rises as a superstar when the team compete in the largest high school football game ever played in Birmingham.
